AllMetal Recycling is located at 800 E. 21st St. N in Wichita. Every Wednesday they pay an extra 2 cents per pound! You can donate your cans, scrap metal, appliances, etc., and tell them to give the proceeds to the Kansas Honor Flight!
ITC Holdings Corporation has donated generously to the Kansas Honor Flight mission. The largest independent electricity transmission company in the country, ITC operates in Michigan’s Lower Peninsula and portions of Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma. ITC also focuses on new areas where significant transmission system improvements are needed through ITC Grid Development and its subsidiaries.
Each year, Dillons Food Stores gives away $2 Million to charities, and Kansas Honor Flight is one of them! All you have to do is add the Kansas Honor Flight as a beneficiary non-profit on your Dillons Plus card! MAIZE HIGH SCHOOL CHEER--these amazing young students go above-and-beyond to help us honor our Kansas veterans. They are an integral part of our "Heroes Welcome Home" ceremonies, and conduct fundraisers to help us send out flights.
The DoubleTree by Hilton is where our out-of-town veterans stay the night before they go on their Kansas Honor Flight. They provide transportation for our Kansas veterans from the hotel to the airport terminal, as well as a special treat for them when they return during the "Heroes Welcome Home" ceremony. Our good friend Warren Vincent has worked tirelessly over the years collecting aluminum cans to raise money to send our Kansas veterans on the Kansas Honor Flights. To date, Warren's efforts have raised over $80,000 for the Kansas Honor Flight! We are very grateful for all his efforts, and we encourage you to help support him as he supports our cause!
